Marianna started taking classes and seriously began painting in 2003, but she had always kept herself busy with arts and crafts as a hobby. Hobbies like fabric painting, pottery, wood burning, flower arrangement, and more.
In 2011, they moved to Munster and joined Art By The Sea, where she repeatedly served as club chairperson. Her mentors include Irma Filter, Bob McKenzi, Willie Jacobs, Dieter Berner, Sheena McDonald, and Alanna Deal.
She paints in watercolor, ink, acrylic, or oil and enjoys portrait work, flower studies, landscapes, and painting the sea.
Recently, Marianna had the opportunity to be part of the mural projects at the Margate Art Museum, as well as at Glenmore Beach and Mpenjati Coffee!
She exhibits regularly and has sold many paintings.
